Šiauliai Cultural Center Amateur Theatre “Durys” – Performance “The Widows” (based on S. Mrożek)

On November 15 at 2:00 p.m., the Šiauliai Cultural Center will present the amateur theatre “Durys” performance “The Widows”, based on a play by Sławomir Mrożek.

In this tragicomic play, essential existential questions are explored. The characters’ relationships are depicted as simple, human, and clear. The classical theme of love and death is developed throughout. The performance is full of dark humor, paradoxical phrases, and situations that encourage the audience to view reality differently and to escape inertia through thoughtful reflection and awareness.
