Educational Workshop for Adults “A Story in Glass”

The Šiauliai Cultural Centre Glass Workshop (Aušros al. 31) invites adults to take part in creative workshops. With the guidance of an educator, participants will have the opportunity to bring their creative ideas to life, learn the basic principles of glass composition, and try the fusing technique. The workshops are open to both beginners and more experienced glass art enthusiasts – everyone will have the opportunity to develop their skills and create unique glass pieces.

During the workshop, participants will create stained-glass pieces from coloured glass using the fusing technique. They will arrange glass elements, combine different shades and textures, and create individual stained-glass pictures or decorative glass panels. The finished pieces will be fired in a kiln, where the individual glass elements will fuse together into a single surface. The handmade stained-glass pieces can become distinctive interior accents or personal works of art. Frames and hanging accessories are not included in the workshop materials.

Duration: approx. 1 hr 30 min.
Number of participants: 5–15
Price per person: €20*

The price includes all materials required to create the stained-glass pieces (except frames and hanging accessories).

Finished pieces can be collected one week after the workshop.
