Pottery workshop "Clay masters"

1–5 Eur

We invite children and adults to knead, mold, create exquisite handmade clay products and decorate them. Through the educational and practical activities the participants of the ceramic workshop will be introduced to one of the most popular crafts in Lithuania – pottery. During the session participants will be encouraged to learn more about the work instrument of this craft – clay, its plasticity and applicability, and will learn about trends in pottery.

During the workshop "Clay Masters" participants will be able to create and decorate a plate, cup, bowl, whistle or toy (horse, duck, kid, lamb, etc.).

There is only one activity for making the piece, but participants of the pottery workshop will only be able to pick it up after drying and burning in the kiln.

During second activity, participants will be able to decorate and glaze the work. Once the articles have dried, they will be burned a second time.

The third session is for participants who want to decorate and glaze an already scorched piece. Participants will be able to choose the product to be decorated from the offered abundance of articles.
