Šiauliai celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Freedom Defenders’ Day
On the eve of the 30th anniversary of the Freedom Defenders’ Day, the square near Šiauliai City Municipality was illuminated by memorial bonfires and the flag of the Lithuanian state was raised by the defender of the parliament Vaclovas Vaitiekūnaitis.
On the occasion of anniversary the square near Šiauliai City Municipality has also been decorated with an artistic composition of photographs, which shows the events of 13th of January 1991 in Šiauliai.
