The Šiauliai Big Band (artistic director and conductor Raitis Ašmanis), founded in 2002, celebrated its 20th anniversary. It is not by chance that the World Culture Day was chosen to celebrate this anniversary, which is celebrated to encourage the protection of the cultural values of all mankind.

Not only the Šiauliai Big Band (artistic director and conductor Raitis Ašmanis) took part in the impressive two-part event and gave extraordinary melodies to the audience, the Lithuanian soloist Viktorija Gečytė, who lives in France, as well as the vocal group "Framest" from neighboring Latvia, also invited to listen to exceptional music. .

The wave of beautiful melodies that flooded the audience during the concert was reflected in their emotions. Viktoras Gerulaitis, the host of the prestigious event, did not spare the musicians nice words, and the audience indulged in applause.
