International career and skills training conference "Learn. Create. Act." on May 12, the Šiauliai Cultural Center invites the youth of the Šiauliai Region to get to know themselves better and reveal their potential. During the conference, inspiring examples of leadership, practical tasks and advice make it easier to decide what you want to be, whether you are in the right direction and what to do to pursue your dreams decisively and purposefully.

The youth of the Šiauliai region and all those interested are invited to the event.

The program includes fun practical experiences, examples of modern active citizenship, unconventional success stories, presentation of Šiauliai Region NGOs to the public and volunteering opportunities for young people.

"We all have the opportunity to become the person we want to be - we just need to put in the effort and choose the right guide." Sometimes, you just need someone to encourage you to take the first step," advises world-renowned coach and mentor, Jay Johnson from the USA.

Mr. Johnson specializes in communication, behavioral intelligence and leadership development. He is also a TEDx lecturer who has conducted seminars in as many as 30 different countries. During the conference, Jay will share: how to stay motivated, focused and become a leader in your life, as well as how important it is to say "Yes" every time, because this is the only way to get out of your comfort zone. According to Jay Johnson, the word "Yes" is the path to excellence.

"I listen to young people, I hear their wishes, their dreams, and I help them achieve all this. Not with words, but with real deeds", says Viktorija Vegelytė, financial literacy educator for young people.

The founder of the "Entrepreneurial Class" project and co-author of the planner "Planas Chuliganas" will reveal on May 12 in Šiauliai why some people are successful, while others, doing the same thing, do not achieve such success. In the presentation "Why are my pockets (not) empty?", lecturer V. Vegelytė will talk about what you need to do to achieve your dreams and whether it is worth investing not only in yourself, but also in the world.

E-business is becoming more and more popular in today's society, but not everyone knows where to start and how to nurture it. You will hear about the popularity of the brand and the successful vision of the way to work online from Renata Saukaitė-Sidorova, the founder of the electronic store "SIDROW".

She actively communicates with young people not only as buyers in the e-store, but also invites her to LIVE broadcasts on social media, talks about various topics: combining studies and work, starting a business, searching for a career path. Interesting and inspiring stories come to life in the articles of the blog section, which are also shared by R. Saukaitė-Sidorova's young interlocutors. After meetings, conversations or LIVE broadcasts, she always feels a burst of good energy because, according to the presenter, young people are so brave, adventurous and open to the world.

"Play, be curious, explore the world and remember - there are NO choices that determine your life - you can always choose", advises the creator of training and lecturer Andrius Ruseckas.

From an early age, everyone is obliged to make important decisions: to choose the subjects of the final classes, the direction of study, the topic of the final thesis. Then, often finds himself in the unknown, how to decide? Now, A. Ruseckas works with the internal communication of organizations, cultivates culture, teaches managers the subtleties of educational leadership and even volunteers in his free time. But since childhood, he knew exactly what he wanted to do in life and it definitely had nothing to do with communication. During the conference, in the report "Choice - play", A. Ruseck will share the details of his personal professional journey and what made him change his major.

The idea of this conference was born 3 years ago, by active public figures from JCI. Kirbei's question is why international leadership conferences are held only in big cities in Vilnius or Kaunas? Why not try to move good practice closer to home and, why not create a gift for the Šiauliai region - do it for free, attract the necessary support and gather a team of active volunteers? He who dreams makes it come true! Therefore, already on May 12, Friday, the conference "Learn. Kurk. Veik" will invite you to look at your life from a different angle. Inspirational speakers, interesting and engaging activities and tasks, new acquaintances and lots of great emotions. The first steps are always difficult, so let's take them together. You can log in now by scanning the QR code.

Do not miss the opportunity to learn, create and recharge your energy for activities that make you happy!

The organizer – association "JCI Šiauliai".
