Comedy "Žaldokynė" by B. Dauguvietis of the theater "Pakeleivis" of the Skirsnemunė branch of the Jurbarkas cultural center

November 11 at 3 p.m. The comedy "Žaldokynė" by B. Dauguvietis of the theater "Pakeleivis" of the Skirsnemunė branch of the Jurbarkas cultural center will be performed in the Great Concert Hall of the Šiauliai Cultural Center. This performance is part of the program of the XIV republican amateur theater festival "Pulsas".

This comedy, which has become a legend, depicts the life in the homestead of the brewer Žaldoks: the upcoming wedding, the slaughter of a breeding ram, the arrival of officials, playing music, worshiping beer... All the situations in which the characters of the žaldokina get involved make you enjoy their naivety and have fun! Don't be fooled - anyone who drinks too much beer has the devil in his arms!

The theater gathered in the spring of 2013. Driven by a common interest in acting, people from various professions joined theater activities. The common goal - to realize oneself on stage, to bring joy to the audience - united people of different ages and attitudes towards life. This year the theater celebrated its 10th anniversary. The successful performance of "Pakeleivio" is evidenced by 11 performances and creative actors who have improved and grown up over the past ten years, each time immersing themselves wholeheartedly in the creation of the performance, looking for ways to reveal the character they are creating as vividly and interestingly as possible.
