Utena Cultural Center Puppet Theater's "Zuikis puikis" performance for children "Cinderella's Antele" based on Vydūnas' fairy tale "Sigutė"

November 24 at 2 p.m. In the Great Concert Hall of the Šiauliai Cultural Center, the Utena Cultural Center Puppet Theater's "Zuikis puikis" play for children "Cinderella Antele" based on Vydūn's fairy tale "Sigutė" will be performed. This performance is part of the program of the XIV republican amateur theater festival "Pulsas".

In this tale-mystery, the forces of good and evil intertwine, which oppose each other, complement each other or fight with each other. The world of Sigutė, the main character of the play, is a world of light, spaces, plants and good spirits, where her sun rises and sets. And in the witch's abode, everything is frozen, dark... and in this abode of darkness, Sigutė is transformed into little duck...

"Zuikis Puikis" puppet theater has been successfully operating for 49 years. He is the organizer and participant of various puppet and drama theater holidays, festivals, competitions. in 1999 was recognized as the best amateur puppet theater in Lithuania and was awarded the "Golden Bird" statuette for high ratings in the republican puppet theater "Molinukas" competitions. Since 2006 is a member of the Lithuanian UNIMA National Center. Puppet Theater "Zuikis Puikis" pays special attention to the work of Lithuanian folk and Lithuanian playwrights, nurturing and enriching the native language.
