An evening of Christmas carols in Šiauliai: the harmony of peace and tradition

In 2024 December 19 An evening of Christmas carols was held in Resurrection Square. Christmas carols are an integral part of the holiday tradition with deep historical and spiritual roots. Their singing symbolizes joy, hope and fellowship, while the melodies and words convey the essence of Christmas - the miracle of the birth of Jesus Christ.

The event was attended by the Šiauliai Culture Center's chamber choir "Atžalynas", led by Mindaugos Žalalis, who performed well-known Christmas carols, causing a wave of festive joy in the square, even in the rain. This evening was special in that everyone gathered could not only observe, but also actively participate - the choir invited to join in singing together, so the voices of not only the choristers, but also those of the audience sounded on the square.

The organizers hope that this event will become a cozy tradition that will allow you to spend time with family, friends or neighbors, share the festive mood and give meaning to the anticipation of Christmas.
