Campaign to celebrate Europe Day

On Friday, May 9, 2025, at 12:00 p.m., the Šiauliai Cultural Center is organizing an event to celebrate Europe Day at the Resurrection Square.

Europe Day is an annual international holiday symbolizing European peace and unity. During this period, the idea of ​​European unity is particularly relevant, therefore, by organizing this initiative, the Šiauliai Cultural Center is fostering the values ​​of European unity and seeking to promote civic awareness.

Šiauliai city schools and kindergartens are being used to implement the idea of ​​the event, which are encouraged to actively join and color hearts in the colors of the flags of European countries with chalk on the pavement of the Resurrection Square on May 9 at 12:00 p.m.

Those wishing to participate must register by April 30 at 5:00 p.m. at e-mail jurate.kasinskiene@siauliukc.lt. When registering, please indicate the institution, group / class, name, surname, phone number and e-mail address of the responsible person. Those who have registered will be sent the necessary information about the progress of the activity and preparation.

Event duration: ~1 hour

In case of bad weather conditions (e.g. rain), the action will not take place.
