“The Playful Wind” Brought a Gust of Songs to Šiauliai

On June 10, 2025, the amphitheater of Šiauliai Boulevard echoed with songs and music – it hosted the Šiauliai City Children’s Vocal Music Festival “The Playful Wind.” The event brought together young singers from various educational institutions and studios across the city. Each participant became like a small gust of the “Playful Wind,” brightening the day and enriching the city’s cultural life.
Organizer – Šiauliai Cultural Center.

On the evening of June 10, the Šiauliai Boulevard amphitheater was filled not only with songs, but also with sincerity, courage, creativity, and the sparkling eyes of children. The concert participants once again proved that music knows no age – the youngest performer at the festival was only three years old. During the event, gentle lullabies as well as rhythmic and cheerful songs were heard, including global hits that invited everyone to sway and sing along.

Little talents graced the stage – Šiauliai Artistic Education Studio “Mikitukas” and soloists Arijelė Jankutė, Karina Šer, Gabrielė Blažytė, Viltė Jokimčiūtė (leader Eglė Žalalienė); children's art studio “Pūūūka” (leader Brigita Šimkuvienė); soloists Paula Lebedytė and Izabelė Reimontaitė from Šiauliai kindergarten “Dainelė” (leader Brigita Šimkuvienė); the vocal group “Little Peas” and soloists Emilija Rimkutė, Nora Pukštė, Karina Kukialkaitė from Šiauliai kindergarten “Žirniukas” (leader Regina Varpučianskienė); soloist Justė Mažeikaitė from the “Vivo” music studio of Šiauliai “Romuva” Progymnasium (leader Sigutė Laugalė); Šiauliai School of Arts music studio “En den du” (leaders Rūta Stanislava Balsė and Laura Dudnikienė); vocal group “Little Swallows” from Šiauliai kindergarten “Kregždutė” (leader Laura Dudnikienė); soloist Augustė Liugaitė from Šiauliai Julius Janonis Gymnasium (leader Algirdas Gumuliauskas); soloist Ugnė Jankauskytė from the home music and creative studio “Sidabro žiogas” (leader Rasa Kauneckaitė); vocal ensemble “Kregždutės” from Šiauliai “Juventa” Progymnasium (leader Ramunė Urniežienė); and vocal studio “Rokoko” of Šiauliai Cultural Center and soloists Vanesa Rumšaitė and Saulė Stoškutė (artistic leader Rasa Kauneckaitė).

Dressed in colorful costumes, the young performers bravely stepped onto the stage and sang not only for themselves but also for a large audience. Parents, grandparents, friends, and townspeople warmly supported each performer – the amphitheater was filled with applause, smiles, and sincere love for music.
