Service Town

On September 13, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, the Service Town will take place at the car parking lot near the Sun Dial Square.

The program will feature the Šiauliai Police exhibition, a meeting with the mascot dog Amsius, fingerprint-making activities and other tasks, interactive educational activities by the Šiauliai Fire and Rescue Board under the Fire and Rescue Department at the Ministry of the Interior, equipment demonstrations, an introduction to preventive measures and the Young Firefighter obstacle course, children’s competitions, a demonstration of equipment and weaponry used by the Lithuanian Armed Forces, interactive games, a presentation of gear and equipment used by the Šiauliai Border Guard Unit under the Pagėgiai Border Guard District (State Border Guard Service under the Ministry of the Interior), a meeting with the VSAT mascot Ramzis, a performance by a canine handler and a service dog, as well as a demonstration of special equipment used in the prison system by Šiauliai Prison and an introduction to their work specifics.
