Dialect Evening

On January 23 at 3:00 PM, we invite you to a cozy and cheerful Dialect Evening, featuring authentic expressions, tongue twisters, proverbs, and games from different regions of Lithuania.

During the evening, participants will be engaged in team activities presenting the colorful dialects of Žemaitija, Aukštaitija, Dzūkija, and Suvalkija.

The atmosphere will be created by the Šiauliai Cultural Center folklore ensemble “Salduvė” (artistic director D. Daknys). Their performed pieces will create a warm, tradition-filled ambiance, inviting everyone to sing and dance along.

Event duration: ~2 hours 30 min.
