Audiovisual Installation “Aušra. The Awakening Bull”

On January 30–31, the city of Šiauliai will be illuminated by the audiovisual installation “Aušra. The Awakening Bull”. 

From 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Zubovai Palace (Aušros Ave. 50), Šiauliai Cathedral of St. Apostles Peter and Paul (Aušros Path 3), Venclauskiai House-Museum (Vytauto St. 89), and the Water Tower (Vytauto St. 103) will be lit up with audiovisual installations and will become the city’s main points of attraction.

At 8:00 PM, 9:00 PM, and 10:00 PM, visitors to Resurrection Square will be able to enjoy a light and dance performance presented by the “Fire Theatre.”

More city institutions and organizations have joined the light initiative “Along the Path of Aušra.” On January 30–31, the following buildings will be illuminated: Šiauliai Cultural Center (Aušros Ave. 31); Šiauliai educational institutions – “Dermė” School (Vytauto St. 235), Simonas Daukantas Engineering Gymnasium (S. Daukanto St. 71), Kindergarten “Pasaka” (Statybininkų St. 7), Didždvaris Gymnasium (Vilniaus St. 188), Vincas Kudirka Progymnasium (Dvaro St. 129), Lieporiai Gymnasium (V. Grinkevičiaus St. 22), “Romuva” Progymnasium (Dainų St. 13), Kindergarten “Ąžuoliukas” (Rūdės St. 6), Central Primary School (A. Mickevičiaus St. 9), Gegužiai Progymnasium (S. Dariaus and S. Girėno St. 22), “Saulė” Primary School (Dainų St. 15), Kindergarten “Gintarėlis” (Saulės Path 5), Kindergarten “Ežerėlis” (Ežero St. 70), Šiauliai Art School (Gumbinės St. 18B), Technology Training Center (Dvaro St. 144A); as well as Busturas Ltd. (Šarūno St. 2), Chaim Frenkel Villa-Museum (Vilniaus St. 74), Photography Museum (Vilniaus St. 140), History Museum (Aušros Ave. 47), Žaliūkiai Miller’s Homestead-Museum (Architektų St. 73), Šiauliai City Municipality Care Home (Energetikų St. 20A), Day Center “Goda” of the municipal care home (Žalgirio St. 3), Independent Living Homes Unit of the municipal care home (Vytauto St. 182), concert institution Šiauliai State Chamber Choir “Polifonija” (Aušros Ave. 15), Šiauliai County State Tax Inspectorate (Vilniaus St. 265), Šiauliai Šviesa Ltd. (Stadiono St. 2), Botanical Garden of Vilnius University Šiauliai Academy (Paitaičių St. 4), and Šiauliai City Municipality Public Health Bureau (Varpo St. 9–2).
