International Dance Day, celebrated worldwide every year on April 29 since 1982, once again highlighted the importance of dance to culture and society. In Šiauliai, the occasion was marked in a special way – the celebration that united the community became living proof that dance is a universal language capable of connecting generations and spreading positive emotions.

The festive concert featured dance ensembles, studios, and young talents from educational institutions in Šiauliai – from children taking their very first steps on stage to experienced youth groups. The audience enjoyed a colorful variety of dance styles, ranging from classical ballet and contemporary dance to modern and folk dance performances. Each performance revealed not only technical mastery, but also sincere emotion, creativity, and love for dance.

According to the artistic directors of the Šiauliai Cultural Center Choreography Studio Aušrelė, Mindaugas Kosaitis and Vita Adomėnaitė-Butnorienė, the evening was special not only for the participants, but also for the audience: “Seeing so many children and young people dancing on stage is the greatest inspiration. Dance allows us to grow, create, and share what is most beautiful – emotions that connect everyone without words.”

The concert “Wings of Kindness” became not only a memorable dance celebration, but also a touching symbol of togetherness, creativity, and kindness, once again confirming that movement can speak louder than words.
