Colorful Europe Came Alive in Rėkyva

On May 4, Europe Day was meaningfully celebrated at the Rėkyva Cultural House of the Šiauliai Cultural Center – a celebration symbolizing peace, unity, and togetherness in Europe. The initiative aimed to remind participants that Europe is not only a political space, but also a living connection between people based on shared values and mutual understanding.

Communities from schools and kindergartens of Šiauliai actively joined the event. The young participants transformed the park spaces into a colorful European mosaic by drawing and coloring the flags of different European countries on the pavement. This creative activity became not only an educational journey through the diversity of European cultures, but also a symbolic gesture of togetherness, reminding everyone that unity is born from diversity.
