Invitation to the international dance festival-competition „Aušrinė žvaigždė“

The international dance festival-competition “Aušrinė žvaigždė“ focuses on fostering the art of dance, its dissemination and international cultural exchange. It develops a creative, active, open to aesthetic and cultural experience personality, who meaningfully develops his/her own creative powers. Opportunities are created for each person to acquire the necessary common experience and knowledge of dance expression as well as to get acquainted with new collectives, to share the joys, success, experience and professionalism of dance.

The festival will take place in public spaces of Šiauliai, in Rėkyva Cultural House of Šiauliai Cultural Centre (Energetikų St. 7), Šiauliai county, on the 20-23 of May 2020.

Dance collectives, soloists, duets from ages 4 to 20 are invited to participate in the festival. The participants will compete in classic dance, folk dance and contemporary dance categories.
