CANCELLED! National student folklore dance competition "Patrepsynė"

Due to coronavirus pandemic the event is cancelled.

On May 9 Šiauliai Culture Centre organizes the 16th national student folklore dance competition "Patrepsynė". The competition focuses on the promotion of Lithuanian ethnic culture and the dissemination of folklore dance, develops a sense of national, regional and local identity and authenticity of folklore dance. The competition evaluation criteria is not limited to the dance technique or ethnicity - each dancer's mood, empathy and individual interpretation are important. The project is included in the list of priority events of the country for 2018–2020 by the Lithuanian Ministry of Culture.

The event will be filmed and photographed.
