On March 20 near Talkša lake Šiauliai Cultural Centre organises an event dedicated to Earth Day.
Šiauliai citizens will be entertained by presentation of the installation "The Returned Flock of Birds", solemn ceremony of raising the Earth's flag, nesting-box show-contest, concert by Šiauliai Culture Centre Vocal Studio "Rokoko" (art director Rasa Kauneckaitė), children of kindergartens' "Coliukė" and "Žirniukas"and musicians of Šiauliai Julius Janonis Gymnasium, Šiauliai Regional Waste Management Center's educations. Šiauliai University Botanical Garden will serve herbal tea, so people are invited to brig their own cups.
The event will be filmed and photographed.
